This is a reminder that registration is open for the 12th International Symposium on Radiative Corrections "Application of Quantum Field Theory to Phenomenology" (RADCOR2015) and LoopFest XIV (Radiative Corrections for the LHC and Future Colliders). If you have not registered and wish to attend please go ahead and register.
The merged conference will take place in Los Angeles at the UCLA Physics and Astronomy Department for 5 days between Monday June 15 and Friday June 19, 2015. To participate in the full program you should arrive the Sunday evening prior to the start and leave either late Friday evening or Saturday morning.
The main theme of this symposium is the application of quantum field theory to particle-physics phenomenology in the high-energy regime. Recent developments in theoretical studies of the radiative corrections of the Standard Model and of its extensions will be discussed and compared with available experimental data. There will also be a few talks on more exotic theories and on the latest experimental progress. Topics to be covered include: Phenomenology at high-energy colliders; QCD physics of hard scattering; Electroweak radiative corrections, and applications to Standard Model and beyond Standard Model processes; new theoretical methods and tools; event generators and simulation of signal and background processes; heavy quarks, and physics at B-factories and in e+e- collisions at lower energies; high-loop calculations in quantum field theory; other related subjects.
Attendance will be limited to about 150 participants so please register soon. Participants are expected to obtain their own financial support for travel, lodging, fees, etc.
The conference webpage is located at https://hepconf.physics.ucla.edu/radcor-loopfest. To register click on "Register" at the top of the webpage. The conference fee is $140 if you register prior to April 15, 2015. After that it is $170. (There is no conference fee for students.) Practical questions should be directed to our administrative assistant, Patrice Tonnis. The conference e-mail account is radcorloopfest@physics.ucla.edu.
If you wish to present a talk please click on "Abstract" at the top of the web page. We cannot guarantee that all speaking requests will be honored, although we will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Be sure to reserve a hotel early. Please book your own hotel. Information on hotels can be obtained by clicking on the "Housing" button at the top of the webpage. UCLA is only 10 kilometers from the beach so you might consider staying at a hotel near the beach. You can use google maps to find a bus to take you to UCLA. The Santa Monica Big Blue Bus is a great deal, at $1 each way. There are multiple lines that stop at UCLA. (You pay directly on the bus but be sure you have $1 bills or coins.)
If you are from a country where visas are required, please be sure you start the process early. Please see http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english.html. If you need an invitation letter, please write to Patrice Tonnis.
We would be grateful if you could help us advertise the conference by informing postdocs and students about the conference. If you have not received a poster via snail mail we would be grateful if you would print the attached poster on a color printer and display it at your institution. You can also obtain a poster by writing to Patrice Tonnis, who would be happy to mail you a physical copy.
We look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles in June!
Best wishes,
Zvi Bern, Scott Davies, Sally Dawson, Nigel Glover, Harald Ita, Roberto Peccei and David Saltzberg.
